Copidognathus novus Bartsch, 1980

Report associated with sponges: This species was reported (cited as Copidognathus septentrionalis) in empty Ostrea valves extensively pitted by sponge, Cliona sp. from New Haven harbour, Long Island Sound, Eastern North America (Newell 1947).

Remarks: This species was also reported (cited as C. septentrionalis) among algae and sand from Eastern North America (Newell 1947).
