Conocephalus (Anisoptera) goianus Piza
(Figure 5a, 5g)
Comments
This species seems to occur in the areas where hygrophilous steppe is present, together with Hyparrhenia bracteata (Poaceae), Sorghastrum scaberrimum (Poaceae), and some species of Paspalum (Poaceae), feeding on flowers and seeds of these species. The humid areas are located in the lower altitudes and plateaus of the GSP, near Atlantic Forest, being a transition area between Cerrado and the aforementioned biome (IAP 2002).
