Hypseloecus sakaerat sp. nov.

Diagnosis. Recognized by its rounded body shape; rather shiny, dark reddish brown dorsum with yellowish brown scutellum (Fig. 8 B); wholly yellowish brown antenna; and almost entirely darkened femora (Fig. 7).
Description. Male. COLORATION AND VESTITURE: Body generally dark reddish brown, rounded; dorsal surface comparatively shining. Head brown; clypeus tinged with red. Antenna entirely yellowish brown, slender; segment IV slightly grayish. Labium blood red, partly with pale rings. Posterior part of pronotum somewhat paler; scutellum yellowish brown; pleura as in Fig. 6; ostiolar peritreme yellowish white, with a pale red median knob. Inner portion of clavus yellowish; membrane dark smoky brown, with pale veins. All coxae and femora almost entirely darkened; tibiae without dark annulations. Abdomen shiny dark brown; segments VIII and IX reddish brown. STRUCTURE: As in generic description (see Schuh & Menard, 2011). Genitalia (Fig. 10): Left paramere rather narrow; right paramere bulbous. Endosoma C-shaped, long, sharply pointed and folded toward apex, without any process. Female. Unknown.
Measurements. ♂: Total body length 2.28; length from apex of clypeus to cuneal fracture 1.71; width of head across eyes 0.94; head height 0.60; width of vertex 0.48; lengths of antennal segments I −IV 0.17, 0.78, 0.36, 0.36; basal width of pronotum 1.13; maximum width across hemelytron 1.32; and length of metatibia 1.22.
Etymology. Named for the type locality; a noun in apposition.
Biology. Unknown; only a single male was collected by a light trap.
