Anisepyris denethori Barbosa & Azevedo, sp. nov.

Description, female. Body length 5.23 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Mandible with five distal teeth, wide, angled, and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe rounded, very short, with apical margin truncate. Frons coriaceous; antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli small. Vertex straight. Pronotal disc as long as wide, sparsely punctate; transverse pronotal carina absent; posterior margin without posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and conspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc polished; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia spinose; claws bifid. Metasomal segments glabrous. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv as long as genitalia body; 2vv as long as 1vv length, smoothly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf strongly curved forward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap strongly swollen posteriorly; 1rv slightly curved forward, ventral process large, and posterior process short; 2rv slightly curved forward.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. brasiliensis Evans, 1966 by having the body black; the mandible with its teeth equally wide; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the vertex almost straight; the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina, and without a posterior pronotal sulcus; and the mesotibia with small distal spines, whereas A. brasiliensis has the body with green reflection and the metapectal-propodeal disc black; the mandible with the lower tooth longer than others; the antennal scrobe carinate; the vertex almost convex; the pronotal disc with a transverse pronotal carina and with a posterior pronotal sulcus; and the mesotibia without distal spines.
