Anisepyris ecthelion Barbosa & Azevedo, sp. nov.

Description, female. Body length 4.77 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous. Head wide. Mandible with five distal teeth, narrow, curved, and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe angulate, very short. Frons coriaceous; antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli large. Vertex straight. Pronotal disc as long as wide, strongly coriaceous; transverse pronotal carina absent; posterior margin without posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus wide. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea closed; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose; claws bifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv as long as genitalia body; 2vv as long as 1vv length, smoothly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf strongly curved forward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap strongly swollen posteriorly; 1rv slightly curved forward, ventral process large, and posterior process short; 2rv slightly curved forward.

Remarks. This new species differs from A. rufosignatus Kieffer, 1908 by having the clypeus with the apical margin rounded; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the frontal angle of the ocellae forming a right angle; the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina; and the mesopleuron with the lower fovea closed and not divided, whereas A. rufosignatus has the clypeus with the apical margin angulate; the antennal scrobe carinate; the frontal angle of the ocellar triangle obtuse; the pronotal disc with a transverse pronotal carina; and the mesopleuron with the lower fovea closed and divided.
