Anisepyris aghani Barbosa & Azevedo, sp. nov.

Description, female. Body length 6.85 mm. Head with green reflection; mesosoma with green reflection and metapectal-propodeal disc black; wings subhyaline; metasoma castaneous. Head wide. Mandible with four distal teeth, wide, strongly angled, with teeth different sized. Median clypeal lobe rounded, short, truncate and with blunt median tooth; median clypeal carina hardly distinct from clypeus. Frons coriaceous; with frontal process; antennal scrobe carinate, but weak. Eye small. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli small. Vertex convex. Pronotal disc as long as wide, sparsely punctate; transverse pronotal carina complete; posterior margin with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea closed; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture closed. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia spinose; claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv longer than genitalia body; 2vv shorter than 1vv length, smoothly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf curved downward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap swollen posteriorly; 1rv not curved, ventral process large, and posterior process short; 2rv not curved.

Distribution. U.S. A: Virginia, Florida.

Remarks. This species differs from A. jocundus Evans, 1966 by having the frons without a median impression; the ocelli very small; and the mesopleuron with all foveae closed, whereas A. jocundus has the frons with a median impression; the mesopleuron with the lower foveae closed; and the mesopleural suture opened.
