Anisepyris amandili Barbosa & Azevedo, sp. nov.

Description, female. Body length 7.15 mm. Head with golden-green reflection; wings subhyaline; metasoma dark castaneous, lightening posterad. Head wide. Mandible with four distal teeth, wide, angled, with teeth different sized. Median clypeal lobe rounded, short; median clypeal carina indistinct from clypeus. Antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli small. Vertex concave. Pronotal disc as long as wide, punctate; transverse pronotal carina present, incomplete; posterior margin with posterior pronotal sulcus.

Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar disc with mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc long; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges present; metapostnotal-propodeal suture fused with first metapostnotal carina; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity polished. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea closed; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein distinguished. Mesotibia spinose; claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. T9 with anterior arm long and overlapping 2vf; 1vv longer than genitalia body; 2vv shorter than 1vv length, abruptly narrowing apicad; 3vv short; 1vf strongly curved forward; 2vf slender and with dorsal lap swollen posteriorly; 1rv not curved, ventral process large, and posterior process long; 2rv not curved.

Material examined. Holotype, ♀, BRAZIL, Espírito Santo, Cariacica, Res [erva] Biol [ogica] Duas Bocas, 20°15'50”S 40°25'12"W, 17.xii.1996, Varredura, C.O. Azevedo col[etor] (UFES 10212).

Distribution. Brazil: Espírito Santo.

Remarks. This species differs from A. darlingtoni Evans, 1959 by having the clypeus truncate at its apical margin and with the clypeal carina wide; the antennal scrobe ecarinate; the frons strongly punctured; and the pronotal disc strongly punctured, whereas A. darlingtoni has the clypeus with its median lobe rounded, short, and with the clypeal carina narrow; the antennal scrobe carinate; the frons coriaceous; and the pronotal disc not punctured.
