Anisepyris elwingi Barbosa & Azevedo, sp. nov.

Description, male. Body length 3.08 mm. Head and mesosoma black; wings clear hyaline; metasoma castaneous. Head wide. Flagellomeres short, with dense and short setae. Mandible very narrow and with teeth equally wide. Median clypeal lobe angulate, long; median clypeal carina higher than frons level. Frons coriaceous . Antennal scrobe ecarinate. Eye large. Frontal angle of ocellar triangle acute; ocelli small. Vertex straight. Pronotal disc as long as wide, strongly coriaceous; transverse pronotal carina absent; with posterior pronotal sulcus. Notaulus very narrow. Mesoscutellar sulcus narrow. Metapectal-propodeal disc short; metapostnotal median carina complete; longitudinal ridges absent; metapostnotal-propodeal suture straight; paraspiracular carina present and inconspicuous; metapleural carina present and conspicuous; metapectal-propodeal disc with short striae; propodeal declivity strigate. Mesopleuron with anterior fovea closed; mesopleural fovea opened; lower fovea opened; posterior fovea absent; mesopleural suture opened. Forewing with stigma developed; Rs&M vein not distinguished. Mesotibia not spinose. Claws trifid. Metasomal segments sparsely setose. Genitalia. Basiparamere shorter than paramere; paramere slender, rounded, with ventral margin convex and dorsal margin straight, sparsely setose; basivolsella straight; cuspis with arms short, dorsal arm wide; aedeagus basal portion convex and slender, apical portion as long as basal portion and wide; apodeme slender.
Material examined. Holotype, ♂, BRAZIL, Pará, Altamira, Rio Xingu, Ilha Grande, 03°12'10”S 52°12'21"W, 06–10.xi.2007, arm[adilha] Malaise, O.T. Silveira & equipe col[etores] (MPEG) .
Distribution. Brazil: Pará.
Remarks. This new species differs from A. jandirae by having the clypeus long and distinctly acute; the vertex concave; the pronotal disc without a transverse pronotal carina; the metapostnotum without longitudinal ridges and the metapectal-propodeal disc polished; and the mesopleural fovea opened, whereas A. jandirae has clypeus with median lobe rounded, long; the vertex convex; the pronotal disc with a transverse pronotal carina; the metapostnotum with longitudinal ridges and the metapectal-propodeal disc strigate; and the mesopleural fovea closed.
