Oxyethira tica Holzenthal & Harris, 1992
Oxyethira tica Holzenthal & Harris, 1992 was originally described as member of the subgenus Loxotrichia Mosely, 1937. This species has a wide distribution, being known from Mexico to southeastern Brazil. In Brazil, the species was recorded by Blahnik et al. (2004), from Minas Gerais State. Now O. tica is also recorded from Amazonas State.
