Orybina flaviplaga kiangsualis Caradja, 1925: 327; Caradja & Meyrick, 1935: 32; Lu & Guan, 1953: 114. Type locality: China (Jiangsu).

Distribution. China (Henan, Jiangsu, Jiangxi, Guangdong, Hunan, Guangxi, Sichuan, Zhejiang).

Remarks. Caradja (1925) described this subspecies from Jiangsu Province, China. We are unable to collect this subspecies during our study. However, we checked the adult photo of its paratype taken by Dr. David Lees (Curator for Microlepidoptera, the Natural History Museum, London). Due to the genitalia of this subspecies is not available, we tentatively accept it as a valid subspecies.
