CHACO: Resistencia (type locality), “sub trunci cortice” (Balzan 1887b), “sotto la corteccia d’un tronco morto” (Balzan 1890) (Ceballos & Rosso de Ferradás 2008a).

Further distribution. The species is recorded worldwide from 26 countries (Harvey 2009). Balzan (1890) had recorded it as Chelifer brevifemoratum from Paraguay.
