Coelichneumon comitator (Linnaeus, 1758)
Ichneumon comitator Linnaeus, 1758: 563, ♀.
Holotype: ♀, Europe (London), type not studied.
Remarks: Uchida (1925, 1926, 1936) had reported Coelichneumon comitator from Japan. As it was pointed out by Townes et al. (1965: 527), these records are misidentifications of Coelichneumon nipponicus . Although Coelichneumon comitator has been found in the Eastern Palaearctic region (Riedel 2012), we have not seen Japanese specimens.
Distribution: Western and Eastern Palaearctic (Kyrgyzstan) (Riedel 2012),? Russia Far East (Meyer 1930).
