Menella bahrelfarsi (Stiasny, 1940)
Echinogorgia bahrelfarsi Stiasny, 1940: 135 .
Material: RMNH Coel. 6458, three microscope slides of the type.
Remarks. The three microscope slides show disintegrated sclerites, and probably like the material of Stiasny’s Echinogorgia macrospiculata this material was also kept in formalin.
The microscope slides as well as Stiasny’s description show it to be a species of Menella . It differs from the above four species in being yellowish red, and apparently having very thick branches, up to 8 mm in diameter. It mostly resembles Menella sp. a.
