Protearomyia occidentalis MacGowan

Protearomyia occidentalis MacGowan, 2016: Boletín de la Asociación española de Entomología, 40 (1–2): 176. ( Protearomyia). Type locality: Veade, Gagos e Molares, Celorico de Basto (Portugal). Holotype ♂ NMS-10000045. Male terminalia: Figs. 1 –5, p177 (MacGowan 2016).

Distribution: Portugal.

Remarks: Only known from the type material which was captured in June in an area of forest-agriculture mosaic, with agricultural fields and meadows surrounded by small patches of forest.
