Family MUSTELIDAE Fischer, 1817

Since the exclusion of the Mephitidae, Wozencraft (2005) recognized two Subfamilies, Lutrinae and Mustelinae within the Family Mustelidae . Four genera and nine species of mustelids occur in Korea.
