Anaphothrips nonporous sp. n.
(Figs 4, 15, 21, 27, 32, 33, 38, 44)
Female mac. Body brown, head and thorax sometimes slightly paler; legs yellowish brown; antennal segments I and III yellow, segment IV yellow with brown apex, segments II, V–VIII brown but II and V paler (Fig. 27). Fore wing pale brown (Fig. 32). Head 0.8 times as long as wide, dorsal surface sculptured with irregular transverse reticulations behind eyes; eyes ventrally with 6 pigmented facets; ocellar setae III arising outside ocellar triangle (Fig. 4); antennae clearly 8-segmented, segment III with pedicel, segments III–IV with small forked sense cone, III–VI with rows of microtrichia at both dorsal and ventral surfaces (Fig. 27). Pronotum with weak transverse sculpture lines, posterior margin with one pair of slightly longer setae (Fig. 15). Mesonotum sculptured with transverse reticulations, median setal pair arising on posterior third. Metanotum with polygonal sculpture, campaniform sensilla absent, paired median setae arising on anterior third of sclerite (Fig. 21). Fore wing first vein with about 11 setae irregularly spaced, second vein with 8 setae (Fig. 32). Abdominal tergites II–VII with transverse sculpture lines weak medially, campaniform sensilla arising close to posterior margin, posterior margins usually with very small lobes at each side (Fig. 38); tergite VIII spiracles occupying less than one third of lateral margins, posteromarginal comb complete, microtrichia with wide bases but shorter medially (Fig. 44). Sternites II–VII with transverse sculpture lines laterally.
Measurements (holotype female in microns). Body length 1284. Antennae length 245; antennal segments I–VIII length (width): 19(28), 33(27), 37(16), 34(18), 36(18), 47(18), 10(8), 17(5). Head length 116, basal width 153; eyes length 60; ocellar setae I–III: 21, 19, 19; postocular setae I–III: 16, 23, 18. Pronotum median length 126, width 180. Fore wing length 726.
Female mic. Similar to macropterous female, but fore wing only about 0.9 times as long as pterothorax width (Fig. 33).
Measurements (micropterous female in microns). Body length 1416. Antennae length 256; antennal segments III–VIII length: 44, 37, 39, 50, 10, 19. Head length 110, basal width 142.
Male. unknown.
Specimens examined. Holotype female mac., China, Inner Mongolia, Yakeshi City, Wuerqihan Town (49°35.77'N, 121°25.09'E), 10.vi.2018, from grasses (Yanze Cui).
Paratypes: 2 female mac., 12 female mic. same data as holotype; China, Heilongjiang Province: Daqing City, Longfeng Wetland (46°30.74'N, 125°12.68'E), 12.vi.2018 , 1 female mac. from grasses (Jun Wang); Mohe City, Tuqiang Town (52°56.85'N, 122°46.73'E), 11.viii.2018 , 7 female mic. from grasses (Jun Wang).
Distribution. China (Inner Mongolia, Heilongjiang).
Remarks. The new species is similar to A. swezeyi and A. floralis in having 8-segmented antennae and the metascutum without campaniform sensilla. However, it has sculpture lines on the median third of the tergites (Fig. 38); the teeth of the posteromarginal comb on tergite VIII are short with wide bases and also shorter medially (Fig. 44); the body is mainly brown with head and pronotum sometimes slightly paler. In contrast, A. swezeyi lacks sculpture lines between S2 setae on tergites; abdominal tergite VIII has a long and fine posteromarginal comb; the body is yellow. This new species is distinguished from A. floralis in the key above.
