Nemopteridae Burmeister, 1839

Remarks: Several genera in the Nemopteridae occur in West Asia ( Croce McLachlan, 1885, Dielocroce Cowley, 1941, Pterocroce Withycombe, 1923, Afghanocroce Hölzel, 1968). Based on Hölzel (1975) revision on subfamily Crocinae (Navás 1910), the genera can be easily determined. The characteristic feature of Dielocroce is that between the Radius and Radius sector the cross-veins become progressively smaller distally (Fig. 3D) and the males bear a bulla on both wings (Fig. 3F). They are small, frequently encounteredspecies, but their distribution is hardly known.
