Remarks: This species belongs to the Iranoeremian faunal element (Aspöck et al. 2001). It has been recorded from several countries neighboring Iran, including Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Pakistan.
Among the species of Distoleon known from the region, the distinctive features of the species are the gradate markings in the forewing, which are parallel with the subapical margin (Fig 6A) and the pattern on the pronotum (Fig 6B).
