Specimen examined. Tucumán: San Miguel de Tucumán – Portal La Virginia (26°42'41.4''S, 64°57'44.5''W), 15-V-2007, on Nicotiana glauca (1Ψ).

Previous records. Costa Rica.

Remarks. The single female collected in this study differs from the holotype of this species by having the setae j3, z2 and z4 approximately 0.8, 0.4, 0.6 times as long as reported in the original description of this species. Further details on the morphology of the specimen collected were given in Demite et al. (in press).
