Type material. Holotype: Ƥ, CHINA: Yunnan, Xishuangbanna, Mengla County, Menglun Town, Menglun Nature Reserve, Secondary tropical montane evergreen broad-leaved forest (N21º54.813', E101º12.634', 876 m), 5 August 2007, leg. G. Zheng, canopy fogging (IZCAS-Ar. 19049).

Etymology. The specific name is an adjective from the Latin word pediculum (feet), and refers to the shape of the copulatory duct and spermatheca.

Diagnosis. This species can be separated from other congeneric species by the shape of copulatory ducts and spermatheca, which is foot-shaped.

Description. Female (holotype): Total length 6.40. Prosoma 2.80 long, 2.10 wide; opisthosoma 3.50 long, 2.05 wide. Carapace light yellowish brown with sparse gray scales, laterally with grayish black spots. Ocular area grayish black with grayish white scales. Eye measurements: AME 0.10, ALE 0.25, PME 0.19, PLE 0.20, AME- AME 0.12; AME-ALE 0.12; PME-PME 0.32; PME-PLE 0.24. Eye row width measurement: I 0.29, II 0.72, III 1.25, IV 0.65. Clypeus height 0.50. Sternum light yellow; chelicera brown, labium and endites dark brown, chelicera with 2 pro- (1 large, 1 small) and 1 median-sized retromarginal teeth. Legs yellow with spines. Leg measurements: I 11.00 (3.30, 3.90, 2.60, 1.20); II 9.70 (2.80, 3.60, 2.30, 1.00); III 7.20 (2.10, 2.50, 1.80, 0.80); IV 7.45 (2.20, 2.45, 2.00, 0.80), leg formula: 1243. Opisthosoma dorsally grayish white, laterally with grayish black marking; ventrally grayish black.

Epigynum (Figs 13 B–C, 14A–B). Copulatory openings at the posterior edge; copulatory ducts simply curved, spermatheca slightly thicker than copulatory ducts.

Male: Unknown.

Distribution. China (Yunnan).
