Type material. Holotype, ♂ (ZIN), with labels: “ Turkey W Isparta, Davraz Dag, 22.v.2001, 1900 m, lgt. M. Sniźek ”, “ Coll. V. Tichý”, “ Holotypus Odocnemis (s. str.) perarmatus sp. n., det. M. Nabozhenko, V. Tichý ”.

Other studied material. Turkey, Isparta Province, Davraz Dağı, 37°48′744″ N 30°46′ 912″E, 1586 m, 11.v.2009, leg. M.V. and S.V. Nabozhenko, B. Keskin, 12♂♂, 11♀♀ (ZIN, CN, SMNS, Tel-Aviv University) and 11♂♂, 7♀♀ (ZDEU) .

Bionomics. The species occurs an altitude around 1600 m, but not above the juniper level. O. perarmata is active early at night (20:30–22:30) and was observed to feed on lichens on the trunks of old junipers or on stones.
