Holotype. Adult male, MNRJ 1804, collected by Alexandre Parko on 14 June 1943 at rotten log in the surrounding of Borba Village [currently Municipality of Borba (04º23'16"S, 59º35'38"W [approximate]; 45 m asl [approximate])], lower Madeira River, State of Amazonas, Brazil.

Remarks. Holotype (73 mm SVL). No tissue sample available.
