Type locality: Belize, West Bay, Twin Cays, mat of Caulerpa verticillata on root mat of Rhizophora mangle, some organic debris and fragments of Halimeda, 30 cm. Type material: USNM 74644 (HT).

Records: Only known from the type locality.
