Note. The species was described on material from the Val Asnina cave in Val Seriana (cadastrial number not provided), province of Bergamo (Pesarini, 1988a) at an altitude of about 400 m. This species is now found both at lower (see also records of the Sebino area by Pantini, 2000) and at higher altitudes (1850–2050 m in the Arera massif, Central Lombardian Prealps).
