Specimens examined. 1 ♀, Jazan, Abu Aresh, Faisel El-Refae, 10. ii. 2012, sweeping trap, H.A. Dawah (CERS) ; 1 ♂, Jazan, Sabya, Basahy Farm, 1–15. xii. 2012, Malaise trap, H.A. Dawah (CERS) ; 5 ♂, 4 ♀, same data but 30. xii. 2014 .

Distribution. This is the first record from Saudi Arabia and Arabian Peninsula. It was described from Seychelles (Mahé) and further recorded from Cape Verde Islands, Democratic Republic of Congo, Gambia, Kenya, Senegal and Seychelles.
