Ontogeny of Newnhamia fenestrata, A-6 to adult

The development of the appendages of Newnhamia fenestrata is mostly similar to that of Notodromas trulla . Detailed accounts of each instar are not given and instead only features that differ from No. trulla are noted, with the exception of small differences in lengths of setae and claws, and proportions of segments. The first two instars (A-8 and A-7) were not collected (see Discussion for details). Also see Table 3 for the general development of the appendages.
