Distribution and habitat. Specimens have been collected at the elevation of 2350 to 2700 m, while Tischechkin (2013) recorded it at 2400 to 3000m. The species is known only from Iran and the known distribution is in the north (Fig. 29). It can be separated from Ph. spumarius only by the appearance of the aedeagal spines in the male. (Fig. 19 a)
