Material examined. 1 male (9.3 x 6.0 mm) (DABFUK), Minicoy, 30 December 2012; 2 males (8.8 x 5.5 mm, 16.0 x 10.3 mm) (DABFUK), Kavaratti, 8 January 2013; 1 male (7.3 x 4.3 mm) (DABFUK), Kalpeni, 28 October 2013; 2 females (13.7 x 8.9 mm, 14.9 x 9.4 mm) (DABFUK), Androth, 9 November 2013; 1 female (11.7 x 7.5 mm), 1 ovigerous female (11.9 x 7.7 mm) (DABFUK), Agatti, 8 January 2014; 2 males (9.2 x 5.8 mm, 11.1 7.2 mm) (DABFUK), Kilton, 20 October 2014 .

Remarks. Previously recorded from Lakshadweep by Rao et al. (1989). This species was also seen at Chetlet, Bitra, Amini and Kadamat but material was not collected.
