Material examined. 1 female (12.1 x 8.4 mm) (DABFUK), Kavaratti, 7 January 2013; 1 male (23.3 x 15.2 mm), (DABFUK) 19 August 2013; 2 females (13.8 x 9.5 mm, 20.1 x 13.2 mm) (DABFUK), Androth, 10 November 2013; 1 ovigerous female (13.5 x 9.8 mm) (DABFUK), Agatti, 9 January 2014; 2 females (10.2 x 7.2 mm, 15.6 x 10.7 mm) (DABFUK), Bitra, 6 May 2015; 1 female (14.0 x 10.5mm) (DABFUK), Kilton, 18 May 2015; 2 males (13.9 x 9.7 mm, 18.7 x 12.8 mm) (DABFUK), Chetlat, 7 November 2015 .

Remarks. Previously recorded from Lakshadweep by Dev Roy & Nandi (2005) and Suvarna Devi et al. (2014). The species was also observed from Kalpeni, Amini and Minicoy but specimens were not collected.
