Geographic & bathymetric distribution. Western Atlantic Ocean: from USA (North Carolina) to Brazil (Rio de Janeirol); Eastern Atlantic Ocean; Southwest Indian Ocean, Pacific Ocean; 88 - 885 m depth (Cardoso et al. 2020).

Remarks. Previous record of the species in Venezuela: off NE La Tortuga Island; NW Los Testigos Archipelago; off N Caruao, La Guaira state, 355–426 m depth (Blanco Rambla et al. 1994).
