Geographic & bathymetric distribution. Western Atlantic Ocean: from USA (Cape Hatteras) to Brazil (Rio de Janeiro); Eastern Atlantic Ocean; Indo-Pacific Oceans; 200–4700 m depth (Alves-Junior et al. 2019).

Remarks. Records for Venezuela: NW of Margarita Island, 807–878 m depth (Blanco Rambla et al. 1994).
