Paratypes (?): 1 ♀, 2 [unknown sex]. MEXICO: Michoacán, Tupátaro. Colección E. Dugès. Conservation status: Complete, well-preserved.
Additional notes: Female specimen is labeled “ Cantharis biguttata ”. Dr. Mario García Paris has mentioned that these three specimens are probably the types of Cantharis alfredi, the current synonym of Lytta (Paralytta) biguttata bivirgata (Dugès, 1881) .
