Diagnosis (male). Gena and palpus with very long thin setae.

Material examined. Holotype ♂, VENEZUELA: Merida: La Montaña Station, 8.4ºN, 71.13ºW, 8.iv.1988, moericke, 2436 m (LACM) . Paratype: 1♂, same as holotype. New material: VENEZUELA: 1♂, Lara: Parque Nac. Yacambu, 7.v.1981, Malaise trap, H. Townes col. (LACM) ; 1♂, same but 6–8.iv.1981, A. Menke & L. Hollenberg col.; COLOMBIA: 1♂, Norte de Santander: Mun. Cucutilla Vda. Carrizal: Cuenca Qda. Poveda, 7.48ºN, 72.85ºW, 18.iii–3.iv.2002, Malaise trap, 2100m, A. Santamaría col. (LACM) .

Hypopygium description (Fig. 53). Hypopygium similar to that of C. bilineata, but with a small dorsal lobe in the left epandrial process.

Geographical distribution. Venezuela and Colombia.
