Coniceromyia globosa Kung & Brown, 2000a: 4, fig. 5.

Diagnosis (male). Characteristic wing maculation adjacent to veins M1 and M2, near apex of Rs and as a circle anterior to M1.

Material examined. Holotype ♂, COSTA RICA: San Jose: Braulio Carrillo NP, 10.17ºN, 84.12ºW, 10.iv. 1985, 500 m, H. Goulet, L. Masner col. (LACM). Paratypes: 1♂, COSTA RICA: San José: Braulio Carrillo NP, 8.2km NE Túnel, 10.12ºN, 83.97ºW, 15.v.1988, 1500 m, P. Hanson col. (LACM); 1♂, PANAMA : Panamá Prov.: Cerro Jefe, 31.vii. 1978, 975m, N.E. Woodley col. (LACM).

Hypopygium description (Fig. 82). The hypopygium has no conspicuous differences from that of C. bilineata .

Geographical distribution. Costa Rica and Panama.
