38. Stigmella atricapitella (Haworth, 1828)

Host-plants. Unknown in the Crimea; probably Quercus pubescens Willd. and other Quercus species as in other regions.

Type of distribution (chorological group). Euro-Mediterranean; the species occurs from Spain and Ireland to Estonia, central European Russia, Greece, Turkey, and the Caucasus (Georgia).

Remarks. The species is not rare in the Crimea: widespread but not abundant (no leaf-mines collected, at light only).
