Host-plants. Malus domestica Borkh. in the Crimea; in other regions also Prunus spinosa L. and Pyrus communis L.
Distribution. Euro-Submediterranean; the species occurs from Great Britain and Italy to northwestern and central European Russia and the western Caucasus.

Remarks. The species is not rare in the Crimea: widespread but not abundant.
