Leptochelia bulbus (Bamber, 2006)

Pseudoleptochelia bulbus: Bamber, 2006: 16 –20, figs 7–8 (Type locality: Ilot Maitre, New Caledonia, 22º19.41’S, 166º20.89’E, in Halimeda, 20 m depth. Holotype brooding female, MNHN.Ta899). Leptochelia aff. minuta: Bamber (2006): 12–15, fig. 6.

Geographic distribution. Lagon, Ilot Maitre, New Caledonia and Baie de Santal, Loyalty Islands. Habitat. In the green alga Halimeda and red algae, 12–20 m depth.

Remarks. According to Bamber (2013) only the male of Pseudoleptochelia bulbus was re-assigned to Konarus cheiris Bamber, 2006, while P. bulbus sensu stricto was reassigned to Leptochelia together with its “ minuta ”- type male, as Leptochelia bulbus .
