Tullgrenella gertschi Galiano, 1981: 217, figs 4–5 (holotype, female, BRAZIL, São Paulo, São Paulo [23°33’18.8”S 46°38’23.5”W], W.J. Moenkhaus leg. (MCZ), not examined; paratype: 1 female, same data as holotype (MCZ), not examined; female, ditto (MACN-Ar 7206), examined).
Diagnosis. Tullgrenella gertschi is close to T. galianoae Marta, sp. nov. by the females having the copulatory ducts posterior-ventral facing the borders (Figs 7N, 42C–D vs 41C–D) and copulatory ducts in one lap (Figs 42C–D v 41C–D), but T. gertschi can be distinguished from it by the septum in ventral epigynum with two depressions like a window (Fig. 42C).

Material examined. BRAZIL, Rio Grande do Sul, Viamão [30°04’16.8”S 51°05’40.9”W], 05.IV.1994, R. Balestrin leg., 1♀ (MCTP 4848) .
Distribution. Brazil (São Paulo and Rio Grande do Sul) (Figs 53A–B).
Natural history. Found only in the Chacoan subregion (Figs 53A–B). The variation in occurrence of this species is 85–7750 m a. s. l. (Figs 53A–B).
