Remarks: The synonymization [in part] for both the Asceta Group and Cymocythere into Phymocythere occurred in Hobbs & Hart (1966: 48). Hart & Hart (1974: 105) mistakenly list the hosts of Phymocythere as “crayfishes of the family Astacidae .” Phymocythere is known only from crayfishes in the family Cambaridae . This error was repeated in Hart & Hart (1975: 41).
