2014a Dactylocythere brachydactylus Hobbs & Walton, 1976 .—Mestre, Monrós & Mesquita-Joanes: 948 (C).

Remarks: Fig. 2b and d in Hobbs & Walton (1976: 400) do not match the descriptor for the male of the species, while Fig. 2g and h, intended for Dactylocythere demissa, do, indicating that an error was made in either the order or labeling of these figures.
