Discussion: Retained in Potoroinae [sic] by McKenna and Bell (1997); considered a family distinct from Potoroidae by Burk et al. (1998) and Burk and Springer (2000), on the ground that it diverged from Potoroidae and Macropodidae long before they diverged from each other.
