TYPE LOCALITY: India, Andhra Pradesh, "hills between Cuddapah and Nellox," (= Velikanda Range) .

DISTRIBUTION: India, south of Ganges River.

SYNONYMS: pallida, wroughtoni.

COMMENTS: Ellerman and Morrison-Scott (1966) lumped the three species included by Lyon (1913).
