Cuatrecasas 11624 (lectotype, designated here, COL [barcode COL 000001507!]; isolectotypes, F [barcode F 0063280 F image!], US [00097305 image!]) .

Note.

Cuatrecasas (1941) cited two collections as the type (“ Typus: … 2-I-1941, J. Cuatrecasas, 11624. También en id. id., no. 11527. ”) and did not mention any herbarium. Neither Bernardi (1961: 165) nor Harling (1999: 22) designated a lectotype. We herewith designate Cuatrecasas 11624, conserved at the COL Herbarium, as the lectotype. Weinmannia sibundoya is considered a synonym of W. multijuga Killip & A. C. Sm. in Harling (ibid.) and Bernal (2016: 1127).
