Cyana pratti (Elwes, 1890)

Notes. The species has been described based on unspecified number of specimens from two localities,“Changyang and Ichang” ( Changyang and Yichang in Hubei Province of China). In order to stabilise the nomenclature, the male syntype labeled as “Type” and preserved in the NHMUK is hereby designated as the lectotype. According to the ICZN (1999) Article 76.2, the collection locality of the lectotype, Changyang becomes the type locality of the species.

Diagnosis. The forewing length is 15.0–17.0 mm in males and 17.0 mm in the female. The species (Figs 3–6, 35, 36, 50) is closely similar to C. adelina (Figs 1, 2, 34, 49) and the diagnostic comparison is provided above in the diagnosis of the latter species.

Distribution. China (Liaoning, Hebei, Shanxi, Shaanxi, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Jiangxi) (Hampson 1900; Daniel 1952; Fang 2000) (Fig. 60).
