Parvithracia sirenkoi Kamenev, 2002

Parvithracia (Pseudoasthenothaerus) sirenkoi Kamenev, 2002: 123–126, figs 36–54.

Material examined: three specimens from the ocean and sea slopes of Simushir, Onekotan, and Paramushir Islands (400– 1,045 m) .

Distribution: Honshu Island (Japan), Pacific Ocean; Kuril Islands (101– 1,515 m) (Kamenev 2002; Kantor & Sysoev 2005; Okutani, Saito & Haga 2009).

Remarks: Previously, this species was found only in the waters of the southern Kuril Islands (Iturup, Kunashir, and Yuri Islands) and off the ocean coast of Japan at depths of 101– 1,515 m (Kamenev 2002; Okutani, Saito & Haga 2009). Our study has extended its northern range to Paramushir Island.
