Distribution in Nepal: Use in domestic waste vermicomposting (Pandey et al. 2014).

Habitat: Cultivated land, non-cultivated land, grassland, garden, forest, sewage (Tripathi & Bhardwaj 2004a).

Ecology: Anecic (Tripathi & Bhardwaj 2004c).

Remarks: It is used for vermicomposting but not documented from natural habitats in Nepal. Its natural distribution in Nepal has to be assured and status should be examined.
