Holotype: PNGM R23263 (formerly 15950), Moikisung area, Morobe Province, PNG (M.P. Simon, 10.iv.1978).

Paratypes: PNGM R23259-62, R23264-69 (formerly 15946-49, 15951-53, 15954-56), data as for holotype, but 15954-56 collected 11.iv.1978 .

Remarks: Type series consists of 41 specimens; other paratypes in AMS, AMNH, BMNH, MVZ, UPNG. PNGM types were cited as 15946- 56 in the description, but these numbers were never attached to the specimens. Specimens in good condition.
