Diagnosis. Member of the salina group (Polhemus 1997). Size strongly sexually dimorphic, male approximately 2.2 mm long, female approximately 3.3 mm long; general color blackish, contrasting with orange or yellowish on female abdominal laterotergites; antennomere I and femora with dark longitudinal stripes; male fore tibia strongly bowed; male hind femur with row of 7–11 spines on posterior surface; female hind femur with row of 4–11 spines on posterior surface (Moreira et al. 2010).
