Ulonemia assamensis (Distant)

Teleonemia assamensis Distant 1903, p. 49

Material examined. 1M, Mt. Lang Bian, 1500–2000 m, 19.V–8.VI.1961, N.R. Spencer coll. (BPBM); 2M + 4F, Phia Den, day collection NG, 08.VIII.2010, I.G.31.688 leg J. Constant & P. Limboutg, coll. (IRSNB)

Discussion. The specimens caught at Phia Den are slightly different than the holotype of the species, unfortunately the only known specimen. The areolae on costal area are larger, the hood is larger, six areolae long and the paranota are also larger, almost triseriate. However, the habitus is similar enough to consider these specimens as belonging to the same species.

Distribution. This species previously was known from China (Hainan), India, Taiwan and Borneo (Drake & Ruhoff 1965a).
