Diagnosis. Adult (Fig. 7) with wingspan 20.0̅26.0 mm. This species is recognized by the forewing with antemedial line from costal 1/3 obliquely outward to dorsal 2/5, broadened on upper half; the clubbed gnathos slightly bifurcate apically, the transtilla with two short, stout, apically truncate postero-lateral lobes that concave in V shape and forming an acute angle of about 60°, the subovate juxta and the phallus with a tapered spinose patch near apex in the male genitalia (Fig. 18); the lip-like antrum, the corpus bursae weakly sclerotized at junction with ductus bursae, and the absence of signum in the female genitalia (Fig. 29). It is related to D. dichromella, but in the latter species the uncus is sub-triangular basally and tubular apically, the gnathos is dilated apically, and postero-lateral lobe of the transtilla is longer and rounded apically in the male genitalia, and the signum is present in the female genitalia.

Material examined. 132 male and 59 female specimens in different localities of China are examined .

Distribution. China (Anhui, Fujian, Gansu, Guangxi, Guizhou, Henan, Hubei, Hunan, Shaanxi, Shanxi, Sichuan, Taiwan, Yunnan, Zhejiang), Korea.
